Very different from our Golden Turmeric Sauerkraut, this seasonal variety is fermented with an assortment of hot chilis to build heat and to enhance complexity of flavor. Shredded carrots balance the kraut with sweetness, extra beta-carotene (vitamin A) and plenty of crunch - a perfect accession to texture, flavor and functional benefits.
You can enjoy this kraut right out of the jar but we think it works exquisitely as a topping for coconut curry dishes where spicy heat is craved.
